Here's The Shocking Jeffrey Epstein Joke Colin Jost Made On "SNL"'s "Weekend Update"

In case you conked out early last night, a new episode of SNL aired. Melissa McCarthy was the host, while Dijon (whose new album is excellent, BTW) was the musical guest.

Of course, it wouldn't be an episode of SNL without a "Weekend Update" segment featuring co-hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che — and this particular "Weekend Update" had some especially brutal jokes on a particular subject.

The topic in question? The ongoing cavalcade of publicly released files associated with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. Earlier this past week, House Democrats on the Oversight Committee released images from the convicted child sex offender's private Caribbean island, where accusers have alleged he committed many of his crimes.

One specific photo featured what appeared to be a dentist's chair, and it caused quite a stir online.

So, naturally, Colin riffed on it. “I think definitely the craziest detail of these photos was that there was one room with just a dentist’s chair in it," he said, setting up a very boundary-walking punchline.

He then noted that the chair “seems very weird, but keep in mind: A lot of [Jeffrey Epstein's] girlfriends still had braces.”

The audience groaned hard — and Colin had a response for that, too. “Oh,” Jost mock-protested, “You think the victims should have crooked teeth?”
